Interview Techniques
- Don't let the interviewer put words in your mouth. Correct false statements or wrong assumptions.
- Don't allow the interviewer to interrupt you. To avoid interruptions, raise your hand and voice slightly. Continue speaking.
- Limit leading or negative questions. If necessary, restate the question in a more positive form.
- Ask questions of the interviewer - turning the tables can catch interviewers off guard and give you the advantage.
- Find out in advance if other people will he interviewed for the same story or show.
